Exceptional service but room quirks

Waking up to the sound of the waves and the aroma of fresh pastries was a delightful start. The staff were genuinely attentive and always eager to assist.

However, we encountered inconsistencies with the shower's water pressure, which was disappointing for such a luxurious stay. It slightly bogged down our experience.

Staying at the Oyster Box was a good experience. The sea-view room offered grandeur and charm, while the attentive staff, especially during breakfast, shined. Although the bar service could improve, the overall ambiance and location make it worth it for any traveler.

This hotel suits me perfectly with its amazing spa, delicious dining options, and attentive staff. I remember my first stay when they helped me find parking, which was a great start. I highly recommend enjoying the curry buffet!

The Garden-Facing Loft Room was pretty cool! Super comfy bed, and the ocean views from the balcony were a real treat. The decor was charming and had a cozy vibe to it. They even included a small bed for my nephew, which he loved. I did wish the air conditioning could’ve been colder, but it was manageable. Overall, a pleasant spot to kick back and relax!

It was just an optimal selection for a momentary visit in Umhlanga with reasonable price. Breakfasts were superb with a huge variety and great quality. Make sure to explore the local restaurants for livelier dining options.

Plus, the iconic Lighthouse Bar is just a stone's throw away, perfect for sundowners while spotting passing dolphins! The staff, especially Wesley and Clive, were top-notch and made us feel right at home.

A minor hiccup was the mix-up with my friend's wine—no one likes extra charges for what’s already been paid!

The location is fantastic, just a short walk from the beach, with stunning ocean views to wake up to. However, I faced some issues with the water pressure in the bathroom and the wifi connection. Overall, the extraordinary breakfast and friendly service made this trip a memorable one.
